My oldest one is doing TCAP testing in school. So they are doing tests everyday right now. We got a letter from school with a few tips for those days. Eat a nutritious breakfast, get enough sleep, and so on.
Makes sense right?
Well my daughter told me yesterday that one kid brought a MC Donald breakfast meal to school, because they are giving away free breakfasts for every kid who is doing TCAP. You won't see us going there.
I made her, actually I made it for both of my kids, my breakfast. The one I eat every.single.morning. Because it is SO GOOD! And healthy. Fruits, whole grains and protein.
In the jars are Oatmeal, Wheat Bran, Flax Seed and Millet. And we need to go to IKEA so I can buy a few more. One is going to be for my unsweetened Coconut so it looks better than the bag sitting on the counter. :-)

A breakfast my little one loves!
My little one loves this breakfast!
A half an hour before I know she is going to eat I soak 2 tbs of Oatmeal in Almond Milk (just so they are a little bit better for her to eat). I think I used 3 tbs of Almond Milk. But they basically just need to be covered.
I mash a half of banana with a fork. And put it together with the Oatmeal, a little bit of non-fat yogurt (or greek yogurt) and because she has a sweet tooth I drizzle a little bit of Agave Sirup on top of it. Mix everything together and enjoy!
I do like it too. So this is a great breakfast meal for everyone!

Healthy kid breakfast
I get REALLY excited when my little one eats healthy. This morning she had organic blueberry waffles topped with some blueberries (I used frozen ones) and to make it a little sweeter I used Agave Sirup. As a side she had a few apple slices and Vanilla Almond Milk (unsweetened of course)!
She absolutely loooves it! She wanted to have 2 refills!
